Lost in transit は配達途中紛失という意味で、
通常郵便局や宅配が使う用語です。
をもじってLost in translation という映画がありましたよね。
“ LOST IN TRANSIT” means "a package was lost during shipping process”.
It is commonly used for postal office or delivery service.
There was a movie title, “Lost in translation.” was after this word.
